You’ve Carried This Long Enough.
It’s Time to Put It Down.
Expert EMDR Therapy That Gets to the Root
15+ years of EMDR practice • Real results, often within the first session
Learn How It Works

None of this means you’re broken.
It means your brain is doing exactly what it was built to do after experiencing prolonged or overwhelming distress.
The problem is, it never got the signal that the hard thing is over.
And you don’t need to relive every moment to heal.
EMDR works differently from talk therapy. Instead of discussing your trauma at length, EMDR helps your brain finish processing what it got stuck on. The memory doesn’t disappear. But its grip on you does.
Nearly 40 years of research back this up. Hundreds of thousands of clients have gone from stuck to free — often in far fewer sessions than they expected. Ryan starts the actual processing work as soon as it’s clinically appropriate, sometimes as early as the second session. Because your healing shouldn’t wait any longer than it has to.
What working together looks like
• A clear picture of your personal trauma history and what’s driving your current symptoms
• Active EMDR processing that moves things, not just names them
• A felt sense of relief that often begins in the first few sessions
• Tools to stay regulated between sessions as things shift
• Freedom from shame that has never belonged to you
• A clearer, stronger sense of who you actually are
The work is real. So are the results.

How Our Work Unfolds
We start by mapping your history. What happened, when, how it still shows up. We also get a clear read on your window of tolerance so the work moves at the right pace for you.
Often beginning by the second session, this is where the real work happens. Processing is typically most intense at the start. Most clients find it gets significantly easier from there. Many work through the bulk of their trauma in three to four sessions.
Once core trauma is processed, the rest of your life becomes easier to work on too. For some clients, that’s all they need. For others, this opens a door to addressing relationships, patterns, and goals with far less weight holding them back.
I take on a small number of new clients at a time to give each person my full attention.

Why People Who Tried Everything Else Find Relief Here
Frequently Asked Questions
The person you are without your pain is still there.
That’s the question I often ask my clients: do you know who you are without your emotional pain?
Most don’t.
But they want to.
And that is enough to start.

You know exactly what it is. You just can’t make it stop.
Maybe it’s something that happened years ago. Decades, even. You’ve told yourself you should be over it by now. You’ve tried talking about it. Sometimes that helps a little. But the weight is still there, sitting just beneath the surface, ready to show up when you least expect it.
The shame is the hardest part. That quiet voice that says something is fundamentally wrong with you. That other people don’t struggle the way you do. That this is just who you are now.
Here’s what’s true: that voice is lying. And the pain behind it doesn’t have to stay.
Trauma doesn’t live in your thoughts.
It lives in your nervous system.
That’s why thinking your way through it rarely works.
Your body holds onto what happened (the threat response, the shame, the stuck moment) and replays it on a loop, sometimes without you even realizing it.
This shows up as:
• Reactions that feel too big for the situation
• Shame that has no clear source but follows you everywhere
• Relationships that keep hitting the same walls
• A constant low hum of anxiety, dread, or emotional flatness
• Avoidance of people, places, or memories you can’t fully explain
I've been doing this for over 15 years, and EMDR is not a last resort I pull out when nothing else works. It's where I start, when it's right for the person in front of me. The research is clear on what it does. I've watched it do that for people who spent years in weekly therapy and walked away still carrying the same weight.
What I hear most from clients is that they finally felt like someone actually fixed something, not just helped them cope with it. That the work started fast, without months of intake and assessment before anything real happened. And that they felt understood in the room, not observed.
That last one matters more than people expect. You can sense the difference.
Here’s all it takes:
1. Schedule your free consultation.
2. Meet with me and get a clear sense of what the work will involve.
3. Begin processing what you’ve been carrying far too long.
